16. 4. 2014 - Field expedition to Zimbabwe and Botswana

The expedition to Zimbabwe and Botswana (7-31 March 2014) was a follow-up to our expedition in 2012, now focused on the easternmost, and thus most productive part of the west-east productivity gradient prominent in the southern part of Africa. Besides the study of changes of diversity of mammals, birds, and plants, we focused on the variation of insect abundance, sampled using light-trapping.
