Member of Editorial Board of popular-science journal “Vesmír” (“Universe”). Laureate of Otto Wichterle Prize, awarded by the Czech Academy of Sciences. Research interests: Quaternary sciences, palaeoecology, vegetation history and ecology, archaeology, landscape sciences.
