Private seminars
The ´Monday seminars´ started at CTS in the autumn of 1998. In contrast to the ´Thursday seminars´, for which a variety of themes is important, these seminars focuse on one theme but for a longer time, usually for several semesters.
These seminars demand regular attendance, participants´interaction and thorough home study. Due to this, the seminar gradually evolved into an internal CTS event.
The seminar is distinctively interdisciplinary, the themes are questions which are important for all disciplines of CTS, e.g. ´life-world´, ´mathematization´, ´truth´, ´process and event´.
In recent years, it has become common that a collective monograph is published - Spor o přirozený svět (Dispute on the Life-world), Spor o matematizaci světa (Dispute on Mathematization of the World), Spor o pravdu (Dispute on the Truth).
