Zdeněk Neubauer
is professor at the Department of Philosophy and History of Natural Sciences at Charles University and is closely associated with the Center for Theoretical Study. He is teaching foundation of biological thinking, structure and ecology of scientific terms, epistemology and natural philosophy and natural sciences in informational age. He is author of about 300 papers, studies or essays on various themes in biology, epistemology, philosophy, religionistic and hermeneutics, 15 books and contributed to 19 monographs, among them O Přírodě a přirozenosti věcí [About Nature and nature of things] (Malvern & B. Just 1998), Between the Universality of Learning and the Plurality of Knowledge – The Idea of University in Transition (In: Rethinking University, Jiří Fiala Ed., 1994), The Tao of biology (1993), etc.
