Born 17 June 1963 in Mělník. After studying at Charles University in Prague, he worked in Expoziture of the Archaeological Institute in Most (1986-1996), then in the Archaeological institute in Prague.
His interest is especially Middle Ages and relationship between social and natural sciences.
