Mgr. Marie Větrovcová, Ph.D.

Graduated in Mathematics at UWB in Pilsen (Mgr. equiv. MSc., 2001). Later, studied in philosophy and logic at the Charles University. Ph.D. in Theory and history of science and technology at UWB (supervisor Jiří Fiala, 2013). In 2009-2015, closely cooperated with prof. Petr Vopěnka. Interest in (intentional) historiography and philosophy of mathematics, focus on medieval mathematics and mathematics of 19th and 20th centuries, link phenomenology (philosophy) in mathematics (perception, reasoning, symbolism...). Since 2013, an associate professor at Faculty of Philosophy and Arts, University of West Bohemia.
