Industrial drug development at Roche: Expert interviews, expertise and experts

The talk provides an insight into the design, implementation and evaluation of expert interviews at a major pharmaceutical company, which were made possible during an industry internship. The expert interviews aimed analysing the business internal point of view of experts working in leading position in basic research towards several issues: interrogating the contemporary state of art in drug development, evaluating the significance of applied concepts and models, as well as the discussion of the potentials and deficiencies of used technologies.
