Tomáš Pivoda

He graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts, Charles University in 2004 (M.A. in Philosophy and English and American studies). Since then, he has been studying in the Ph.D. programme in philosophy at the same faculty. His fields of interests are the contemporary French philosophy (especially Alain Badiou and the philosophical circle around ENS in Paris), philosophy of film and theories of image. He occasionally publishes articles about film, literature, philosophy and art.
