Cyril Říha
Cyril Říha studied philosophy at Charles University. In addition to CTS, he is an associate professor at the AAAD in Prague. He is a member of the scientific boards of the Faculty of Art and Architecture at the TU in Liberec and the Faculty of Architecture at the CTU, the expert evaluation committee of the TAČR SIGMA programme and others. His expertise focused on standardisation in 20th century architecture and urbanism (projects "Husák's 3+1" and "2x100 million m2") and on analogies between biological and urban systems. He is currently focusing on the interactions between human settlements and nature in the Anthropocene (vague terrains in cities, construction activities in PLAs).
