Quantum Physics without Quantum Philosophy

Venue: CTS, Husova 4, Praha 1, 3. patro
Lecturers: Detlef Dürr
I shall introduce Bohmian mechanics. This is defined by two equations. The description of phenomena emerges from the analysis of the equations. Quantum philosophy comes into play when one of the equations, namely that one, which says what the theory is about, is omitted. The presentation addresses several questions, most importantly the question: Where does randomness in physics come from?
