Center for Theoretical Study

The Center for Theoretical Study (CTS) is an academic institution focused on interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research. It brings together researchers from various fields of natural and social sciences, including philosophers. We strive to break down the boundaries of disciplines and confront partial disciplinary perspectives. From general theoretical research of complex systems, we have shifted in recent years towards the study of the Anthropocene and the transformations of the contemporary world.

The Center for Theoretical Study is accredited to deliver the microcredential learning program Anthropocene.

Research at CTS is currently focused on six areas:
